Quite often religious persons get criticized because they base their beliefs on a book and have hollow proofs.

But what if… a long time ago, about a million years ago, an alien civilization had changed ape DNA and resulted in our specie.
Wouldn’t it be true that atheists, would have based their own beliefs in to a book - Darwin’s Descent of Man’ – and this alien could be considered a kind of God? The proofs of our evolution aren’t a small amount of bones?

my daughter goes to see her bio dad and he still does nothing but badmouth me to her. she came home one day at age 3 singing mommys a b... he tells her things like I am the reason he is not around and bad mouths my current husband to her also, of whom she calls daddy on her own and is very fond of him. now she is 5 calls on weekends she is at bio dads, crying to me how she does not want to be there and wants me to come and get her, which is not allowed. i have made a promise not to bad mouth my ex, since my mom did that to me when she divorced my dad and it was awful. i try to just deal with the situation at hand and tell her her real dad loves her and it is his turn to spend time with her, but she doesn't want to be over there still. what should i do

Ok, my periods are extremely heavy and they are so painful that the pain is also in my legs down to my knees and upto my chest. I throw up when I have periods and I feint alot.
I've been to my doctor and he gave me the pill. I took it but I had three periods in six weeks and it didn't work. I also can't go back on the pill as it is against my beliefs.
Any suggestions for easing the pain/vomiting/feinting???
My doctor does not understand a thing I say, it's making my life a nightmare.

Do we swallow more bacterias in the subway when train approaches than we would outside?Because people spit,throw trash and all those rats(fecalies) and then it gets blown when train arrives.Is it my paranoya or is really like that?

However, I would also like to do some off-roading, nothing crazy, but definitely going over some rocks and roots and what-not. I was thinking of getting a hybrid, but I'm concerned that it won't handle the mountain biking I want to do. But, my priority is comfort for riding long distances in the city (I'll usually be wearing a heavy backpack too). Thanks for the advice!

A titration was done, 50mL of 0.1 mol/L NaOH added into 25mL of CH3COOH (initial pH = 3.5)

this is what i've worked out so far:
chem equation: CH3COOH(aq) + NaOH(aq) <--> NaCH3COO(aq) + H2O(l)

dissociation of CH3COOH = CH3COOH(aq) + H2O(l) <--> CH3COOˉ(aq) + H3O + (l)

inital pH of CH3COOH(aq) = 3.5
initial [CH3COOH(aq)] = 0.2 mol/L (n = 5mmol, V = 25mL)
inital [NaOH] = 0.1mol/L (n = 5mmol, V = 50mL)

this is what i'm asked to do:

Use the initial pH of the CH3COOH (before you added any based (3.5)) to find the initial [H3O]. What was the initial [CH3COO-]

Assume the amount of CH3COOH that dissociates is small compared with the initial concentration of the acid. If this is true, the equilibrium valye of [CH3COOH] is equal to the initial concentration of the acid. Use your valuse of [H3O+],[CH3COO-] and [CH3COOH] to calculate Ka for acetic acid.

i worked it out to be 5 x 10^-7, but i'm pretty sure that is wrong.

Her only income is her SS Check--can she ask that the bill be written off. I do not think they can take her check--My cousin is her Power of Attorney....I am sure she is responsible for some of the charges....I would like to think she has abused her Power.
If her bills are written off --Will this make her credit bad? Sometime she has to get her medicine on her credit card...I told my cousin to keep one card or will she have to close her one card?
My Aunt is 96 years old and has early Demenita..i do not live in the same state as my Aunt and cousin.

at work iv started drinking soda water with my squash because i thought it was better for my teeth than the fizzy stuff an it was a bit more exciting than plain water. people have since told me soda is also bad fo r my teeth!
