"Dominant genes produce evolutionary benefits."...I told my teacher that this question was too vague on the test but she said I shouldn't be...I guessed false because they don't produce the benefits, mutations/natural selection are responsible for that....the genes become dominant.....I don't know though..

I have an EPSON C80 printer which i connected to my pc with a USB cable (short length, shielded). The printer was recognised by Windows Vista Business and installed correctly. Although i can check the ink cartridge level from the properties when i try to print something, it sends it to the printer queue, it disappears but the printer does not print anything (it doesn't even try to start printing).

I had this printer connected to a Windows XP machine with a parallel cable and worked nice, but after i bought a new pc and connected it to usb it doesn't print (no parallel port on the new pc).

I would appreciate any help,

I married a British man, ceremony in the UK. I have now left him and am living back in the USA (I am an American citizen). Am I considered married in the US?? Anyway, if I am, can I divorce him from here without returning to the UK?? Are there lawyers here in America that handle divorces abroad??

I am looking for a website that helps people like me. I was not taught very many life skills growing up. I have learned more raising a young family, but I often feel inadequete. I am not very good at the "correct" way of doing laundry, folding fitted mattresses, and have limited recipes in which I can master. Is there a housewife-in-training site? As ridiculous as that sounds, there has got to be something out there run by the truly knowledgable "grandmothers" of the day. Can you help?

Certain types of Muslims, (Wahabi), and supposedly ALL muslims think music is a sin, because the lyrical content can be sexual, or the extreme passion of emotional music can make us forget God. But why wouldn't classical music, without lyrics, like BACH, which was music written for God, be OK? On the Muslim websites they never specify.

I have a sound, barrel racing, huntseat, lesson, trail arabian mare. she is sweet and loves people. she has no health problems. and was shown last year, always in ribbons and has alot of spunk. she even came out reserve champ. in barrels at the local fair (youth 12 and under)

I put a fungus killer in my fishtank yesterday. I took my snail out before I did and kept him out for about 3 hours. How long should I keep him out? I looked at him today and he's sitting on the floor of the tank and is kind of half way closed and doesn't look like he's moving. I think he may have died :(

From what I understand, Buddha said there is no essence of 'you'. If you take a table apart, you find no essence of 'table', only bits of wood - and in the same way, there is no essence of 'you'. Am I right so far?

Well. If there's no 'you', how can 'you' be reincarnated? My religion teacher said Buddhism generally doesn't have an answer to this, and that individual Buddhists might have their own ways of explaining it.

What are possible ways of explaining it?

I'm trying to hook-up an undergravel filter using an air pump. I bought the tank used but I have the air pump, the air tube, an airstone. I can't get the tube to go through the top of the riser on the undergravel filter. No websites go into detail about how it works and I got the filter without directions. What do I do to make the filter...work??
