I think the age difference would have to be reasonable. If your soul mate is three years old, there could be legal issues attached....

I have witnessed that it is good to have a soul mate near your age. I prefer them to be up to 5 years older than me or up to two years younger than me. Out side of this age range I could expect a life where I was role playing as either a nurse or a baby - sitter.
So like in today's society women outlive men on an average of 5 years. So this contradicts my desire. Should I focus on a soul mate who would die near my death, then technically, I'd pick a man who's 5 years younger than me. At the same time, men mature slower than women ... so it's better to have a man slightly older. All I know is I want someone to share a life with who can relate to me instead of think I'm a freak.
I secretly wondered about the "Holy Family", Joseph, Mary & Jesus. Some say Joseph was much older than Mary, while other argue he was not. In either case, though, during Jesus' crusifixon Mary was widowed. So I ponder, why did God orphan Jesus at an early age? How would that time have changed if Joseph were alive? Would the mere presence of Joseph have kept Jesus alive so that we could have had him longer? Sure, Jesus had to biff it, decend to Hell, and ascent to heaven ... buy why did Mary have to be widowed during that tramatic event??? In my heart, Joseph holds many mysteries for me.

I don't know. I might have a soulmate somewhere and not know where he is. I wonder if he's looking for me?
