I am looking for a website that helps people like me. I was not taught very many life skills growing up. I have learned more raising a young family, but I often feel inadequete. I am not very good at the "correct" way of doing laundry, folding fitted mattresses, and have limited recipes in which I can master. Is there a housewife-in-training site? As ridiculous as that sounds, there has got to be something out there run by the truly knowledgable "grandmothers" of the day. Can you help?

being a good wife is never about folding the sheets the right way or cooking a gourmet dinner. these houseworks are just accessories to making your family happy. spending quality time and being there for each other is more important than a sparkling floor. having the best looking house is just a house, it doesnt make it a home. instead of trying to perfect your chores, try doing it together with your hubby and you both can learn and enjoy each other's company at the same time. as most women will agree with me, there's something very sexy with a man who does and enjoy doing housechores.

Just read some magazines or look at thier web sites for ideas. Places like www.primedia.com has links to all kinds of magazines. Talk to friends and other mothers and trade recipes and ideas.
