I married a British man, ceremony in the UK. I have now left him and am living back in the USA (I am an American citizen). Am I considered married in the US?? Anyway, if I am, can I divorce him from here without returning to the UK?? Are there lawyers here in America that handle divorces abroad??

Yes you are considered married.

The questions after that you need to find a lawyer, as I am not certain how one would divorce internationally.
