I'd go buy a good multi & take it every day; maybe Spirulina or GNC's Mega Men.
See if this causes the burning to stop. It may be a combination of stress & a lack of a certain nutrient.
If it doesn't go away after a week of supplementing, then go see your Doc.

Are you taking vitamins shortly before this? Flushing of the face can be a reaction to some B vitimins.

Might be stress related.

its either an infection from the bactria in the air where you work reacting to other chemicals that are in the air, which should produce a redness. all you can do for this is soap and water and clean linen and clothers. keep your hands away from your face.
it could also be a mixed signal to your senses, which are located in your brain. the only thing you can do about this is be carefull on what you consume, namely drugs and alcahol.
if these symptoms continue, see your doctor.
keep on smiling. lol :)

Yes, it's stress. When I get really stressed, I get a "lump in my throat" feeling - you know when you want to cry but fight it you get that tightness - that's what it feels like. Just chill out - take deep breaths. In my view, unless you are responsible for people's lives (like a brain surgeon) your job, isn't worth getting stressed about!

Could be both. I usually get an inflamed arch (it feels like my foot is on fire at the arch area)
