I put some acetone fingernail polish remover in a small plastic cup, in which the polish remover ate through the cup and leaked onto the dresser. The spot is about the size of a hand towel smack dab in the middle of our dresser. What do I do to repair this, I am desperate to have this done before my husband gets back in 2 months. The furniture restoration people said it would cost $450 to repair it, I can buy a new dresser with that. HELP!!!!

Ok, I recently met a man over the internet, he's a very nice single dad of two very adorable litlle kids 5y old girl and 3yr old little boy. For our first date he invited me "and" my 2 boy 12yrs and 5yrs to come spend the weekend @ his house and he took us to the beach. We all clikcked like puzzle pieces. I feel so strongly about this relationship and he felt it to. Like we were the missing puzzle pieces to his life and his family were the mising puzzles pieces to our lives. My 12yr old totaly accepeted him right away. He came to me monday morning and said mom don't let this one get away. It mad me cry, because for 10yrs he would totaly reject any man other than his fater that I tried to be with. He would go as far as fist fighting with the guys I was with. So 2 have "him" come to me and tell me that is a big thing . I've tried telling my new man this and he says it's because my son is older now. I don't think that is it at all I belive it has everything to do with this new family.

If god is all powerful then why does he not stop man from committing evil acts.
It would seem to me that either...
a) god does not have the power to stop these acts and is therefore inferior to man
or
b) god does not want to stop these acts and will allow man to continue killing,raping and enslaving and is therefore as evil as man.

I have a 1 yr old dog and a cat that I found in the street.My dog really loves to play but my cat doesn't want to play with the dog,strange part is my cat does this snake sound to scare it away my dog gets scared.The dog slowly walks past the cat the cat runs to it and does the snake sound then my dog runs away,my dog wines to play with the cat,Brief decriptions, my cat comes over to me for love and it can adapt to anyterritory it finds quickly,my dog is very playful its big though 1 yr old and it'll beg love to anyone,it can literally jump on you while your standing as if trying to hug you.What is the solution to this conflict?

what exactly are side effects? do they mean the side effects during taking the pill or even after taking it and you have stopped? because im only feeling the effects after i stopped it for like a week already. my head feels weird and im like dizzy pretty soon after i stopped it. its got a sorta worse during the week. what the hell is going on? i never felt like this before the pill. i got my period fine. so im sure im not pregnant. and how long will i feel this way if it's just side effects?

someone i met an aquaintance told me he used to hike, but he stopped because one day in the middle of the woods, he happened upon hundreds of horrifying snakes. they were everywhere. he said before that he would hike everywhere. now he completely avoids hiking. he had never seen anything like it and was terrified. he thought he was going to die.

do snakes live in the wild like this? is this story dependable? i never heard of this happening.

Took out $10,000 from an IRA to put down on a house, we closed late December. Also paid half year property tax upfront.
I realize the 10g will be taxed as income, but what kind of breaks do we get for buying a house. Obviously we don't have much interest paid towards our mortgage, nor have we saved much receipts last year b/c we were'nt planning on buying a house. In this situation would we still go with a standard deduction or try to itemize?

Apparently many Christians, because of the differences in scripture and scientific discovery, say that humans were around during the dinosaurs. This clearly would be the only answer someone who believes in scripture could produce because of carbon dating that tells us dinosaurs were certainly arund before any human matter was. I just want to hear you argue about it and I challenge a christian to come up with an answer thats not absurd. Christians who do not believe this need not apply.

When you call a place of business and ask to speak to someone and the switchboard operator says that person is not in or is unavailable, what do you do? Do you believe them and say "thank you" and hang up, or do you fight your way to talking to that person? Do you go ahead and introduce yourself and say where you're calling from? Do you think the person who answered is the person you're calling and immediately say their name? Do you state your problem as soon as that person answers or do you ask who you would talk to about the problem? Because I've been a switchboard operator/receptionist for going on three years now and people just don't seem to believe me when I say someone is not in or they are unavailable, we don't announce your call before you're transfered, there are other people in the place you're calling and we would like it if you ASKED for the person you're trying to call instead of ASSUMING we're that person, and contrary to popular belief, we don't know all the answers.

I am constantly writing lists in a notebook, reminders on post it notes, putting things into my Outlook calender, and jotting things down in my Day Runner. I spend more time making lists than getting anything done, and always forget something. I also have a hard time prioritizing things. I can barely remember to get groceries and what we need, (since I can never find my list) Does anyone have any suggestions as a system to try that might work better for me? I work full time, show horses ( we practice daily) , have a small child (who is in several sports), take care of an elderly parent, and run an EBay business along with all of other normal every day things, like shopping, cleaning and laundry. My life is now running me in circles and I stay stressed since I am sure I am forgetting something.
