Possibly, if he's talking about replacing the batteries (notice the plural form) in the Saturn Vue Greenline, the hybrid version of Saturn Vue.

EDIT: On the other hand, even those super-fancy batteries in the Toyota Prius, which goes up to hundreds of volts, costs only like $7500 to completely replace. Greenline's batteries only run up to 36 V, so it should cost no more than $2000 to replace. Hmmm... I wonder where he got that figure from.

I think you have to find out if its strictly electric, hybrid or just plain gas. Hybrid and gas cars use ordinary battery's and electric is the only one that could get that high.
