I'm in the process of getting a wireless network going at my house. I know I need a router and I also need all the wireless cards and stuff. The problem is, I remember hearing about some smart computer guy once saying something about how the G connection won't be very good in the future and we should switch to N or something...I really don't know. What type should I get? Which is better? Will one of them be more common in the future? If I take my laptop somewhere and want to use my wireless card to hook up to their Internet connection will I have to worry about which type of card to get? I know that's a bunch of questions, but the main one is, What type of wireless network should I get: N, G, or something else?

Why do we not have a comprehensive model for the collapse?

My daughter Emily is very out of control. She is always getting in trouble at school and home. I just dont know what to do to get her under control. She is grounded right now but she dosnt seem to care about that. i have threatend to spank her she dosnt care about that either. I told her i would swicth her schools, she told me she would skip school then or just go back to her old one. Shes always talking back to me and my boyfriend. My boyfriend has told me that is she continues on with her behavior that he might leave me. I dont want that to happen what can i do to get her to behave and listen to me. Her brothers dont act nearly as bad at school or home as she does so i just am stuck as of what to do with her.
She just turned 14 a couple weeks ago.

If it can be proven that species will go extinct from global warming then doesn't this law require that it be stopped? I'm no lawyer I was just reading about the law, could some one or some group sue the government to prevent global warming using this law?

my sons mom hasnt called to check on him in over a month. she recently told my mother and i that she didnt want to hear from us at all. and has given up. she knows we were in childerens hospital to have his heart examined. hes not even two. it was very hard on me. lucky my mom was there and a very special friend to help me get through it. she hasnt called for the results. so my question is do i call her and tell her for now hes ok but he has to be seen every two years. or do i just say to helll with her and not call cause she said she doesnt care.

Anything at all!

Mine would be to have a special watch (like in Bernard's Watch, if any of you in the UK ever watched it!!) that gave me the ability to stop and rewind time. God that would be great. I would totally abuse the power - help myself to drinks from behind the bar, do a spot of shoplifting, get extra time to write my essays... it would also be handy if I ever got burgled or attacked! God, I wish a watch like that really did exist.

I was wondering if anyone can elaborate on the following:

Similarities I have found between Christianity and Native American beliefs are that the Native Americans believe in "The Great Spirit" and we believe in GOD.

Native Americans believe in "Mother Earth". God gave us the earth to provide for us, as a mother for her children. Native Americans worshiped everything individually on the Earth, as a child worships gifts from its mother.

Native Americans believed that EVERYTHING on this earth has a spirit.

In complicated times as ours, it seems almost peaceful to view things as such. Can anyone elaborate more on the beliefs of the Native Americans and on the spirits they believe all objects have?

Many were taught Christianity and many believe, as I do. But it makes sense to worship all that we have been given by GOD.

Any opinions?
