Schmidt. Burnett is going to have trouble in a hitters park and coming off a long stand on the DL last season. Escobar has never really been back to 100% because of injuries. Johnson is on the DL. Mussina has a good defense and A-Rod. Maddux moved into a more hitter-friendly Petco Park last year they moved the fence in 5-10 feet between this year and last year. Schmidt is going to have the best season because he has a solid defense behind him he has multiple gold-glovers and shortstops spread throughout the infield and he is in a pitcher's park!

Love the "homers" but seriously a look at the numbers and the answer is pretty easy. Schmidt is top 4 in wins,ERA and WHIP in the NL since 2001 and owns a career 2.93 ERA at Dodger stadium (his new home). None of the others is remotely close to having the same numbers overall in that stretch but based on potential and his apparent health so far this spring Burnett plays on a very good (albeit underrated) Blue Jays team and he has the stuff and demeaner to post top 10 numbers (of course one would have to assume his health will fail him but if it doesnt he will be the best of this group).

Gregg Maddux

Out of those Johnson. I want Maddux, but Johnson is only twenty games away from three hundred, which with him is very doable. But, someone not on the list will be better. Tom Glavine. He is nine away from three hundred. He will get this year, barring any major injuries, while there is a chance Johnson will have to wait 'til next year.

I'd say Mike Mussina, not neccisarily because he is the best pitcher there, but because of all the fun support he will recieve from the Yankees.

Curt Schilling. he is still a great pitcher and is the ace of the sox pitching rotation which is a great rotation so you know hes still great. also because the sox have a great team and are going to help him win games by putting a lot of runs on the board.

i think Tom Glavine (even thought i don't like the mets), Randy Johnson(because he back where he wants to be) and Mussina of course cause he is so freaking awesome.

I'll go with Schilling or Moose, they both still got the stuff and both have the team behind them to get them runs... You saw Wang win 19 and Jaret Wright win 11... JARET WRIGHT!
