I recently moved and puchased a sofa from a second hand vintage store. The sofa is gorgeous but I got a really good deal on it bc it has a stain and a tear on the right arm and seat cushion. I was wondering if anyone knew the best and least expensive way to clean it? The colors of the sofa are a bit dull and I was thinking of renting one of those hand cleaners and mixing in color safe bleach with water to brighten the color. Would this be safe for the sofa? The material is a cotton clothlike material. Any other suggestions to brighten it?

This guy i like, who I liked for awhile talked to my friend about me. He talked to her for 3 hours about me. He said things like "i never felt this way about anyone before, she means everything to me, i think about her all the time, i make wishes at 11:11s everynight for her to be happy, if she went out with another guy, i would be sad but i'd be happy for her, i would never hurt her, and im not giving up on her." so iwas thrilled. then he didn't seem interested anymore, so he was talking to my friend and he said "no i don't like her anymore, its pointless and i dont want to wait" then i was bawling my eyes out because i was falling in love with him.. and then he asked me why i was so upset and i spilled everything and he said "im not giving up on you, promise. i really ****** up, i got the feeling you weren't interested in me." So i'm very confused now. help please or why you think he's acting this way?

The president believes that Congress can do a better job with your money. He complains that they sneak the pork through — piles of it. "These things didn't get voted on, and yet they have the force of law," the president said in a speech, holding up a large stack of congressional earmarks.
