I speak French fluently and I am the first person in my family to go to college. I have a weighted GPA of 4.12 academic GPA 3.7 unweighted . By the end of my senior I would have taken 13 exams passing 7 exams. I was the president of the French club and this year I am the president of the European Club. I played in the advanced Jazz band my junior year only because it was difficult( I played the piano). I took two other foreign languages at school. spanish 1-2,3-4,AP Language, this year AP Span lit.(only non-native in class), also took german 7-8 got a B both semesters(studied a lot over the summer). Language and music are my hobbies. However I was not in sports. I have a lot SAT of 1630/2400 and ACT composite 23. I did 50 hours community service. Volunteered 150 hours as teacher's aide and outside work. I also went to Long Beach City college in the summer of my sophmore year to take Intermediate Algebra and Spanish 3. As a result I am in AP Span Lit. I am also in AP Calc with a B

would you do it? considering this person was a friend, and you were, in your opinion, very generous and complimentary to them during that relationship, which is a fact you regret now. i'm not saying you go out of your way to insult them, just that should a chance come along...and this wouldn't be done out of anger at all, merely stating facts that you were blinded to until now. opinions? also, this is a person who really values honesty...

Ok, I've got a question I haven't figured out just yet. Three men walk into a hotel, and pay $30 (total) to share a room for the night. After paying, the manager comes out and says their total should have been $25. Their refund is $5, but since the $5 is not evenly dividable three ways, each man receives $1, leaving the manager with the other $2. Since originally each man was paying $10 ($10x3=$30) for the room, and now each is paying $9 ($10- $1 refund), that leaves the total charge being $9x3=$27. If the manager kept $2, the total comes to $29 ($27+$2), where is the 30th dollar?

I read a story once in an anthology book of short stories from South East Asia, but I cannot recall either the title of the book or the title of the short story.

The story I'm looking for is about a group of American or British travelers (or soldiers) who stay at a house in (I think) Vietnam. They are told of a story by a local regarding a ghost that lives in a little hut in the rice fields, and that people have died of fright just from seeing it. The group of men then dare one another to go and spend the night in the hut - one of them eventually goes. During the night, the others make a plan to creep up to the hut and scare their friend, however, as they creep up to the hut they notice a figure crawling out of the hut and assume it's their friend wanting to scare THEM, so one of them creeps into the hut to wait for their friend to return and scare him then, however when "he" returns, it's not really him, but an actual ghost - their actual friend had gone back to the house.

I have a one year lease but I want to break it before time I have been living here for 7 months. Two of my tires got slashed in my apartment complex parking lot and I think this will continue to happen if these people don't get caught. I want to know if there is any way I can break a lease before time without having to pay any penalties because I don't feel secure living here anymore. Thanx
