anyone spent news years in dc? where is the best place to go? most exclusive, classy, so so hard to get into event of the night? my bf and i wanna spend new years in dc next year....just curious about locations. something where we kinda have to dress up nice kinda thing.

Most hotels in Washington DC have events, usually run by Lindy Promotions or Hi Ball Events. They are dress-up things. Usually a TON of people attending.
If you search some smaller medias, such as On Tap magazine, you could find a smaller event that is still dress up, but not over-run by mobs of people given tickets by a local radio station.
