Pirate puzzle?
Imagine a row of 10 pirates, all very intelligent and all very greedy. We'll label the pirates with numbers 1 through 10.

The pirates are about to divide 100 gold coins among them in the following manner: Pirate #1 proposes how to divide the coins and his proposal is put to a vote (the proposing pirate also votes). If the vote passes, (tied vote also passes) then the coins are divided as per his proposal. Otherwise, he is thrown overboard and pirate #2 makes a new proposal, and so on.

How will the coins be divided? (Yes, there is a logical clear-cut, no-doubt-about-it solution)

Iknow that aerodynamic,solar radiation pressure, magnetic ,gravity gradient and micellaneous disturbance torquers effect a satellite but I don't know exactly what they are and how they effet a satellite so that it has still equilibrium in the atmosphere they are to me just some words .could you help me????????????????????????

Ok. I'm never usually this stupid. Last night I opened a file attatched to an email I sent to myself from school (it was the beginning of a research paper). So instead of SAVE i click OPEN which was obviously REALLY stupid. And as i worked on it, I just kept saving it. Then when i went to sleep, I just left the computer on, but it decided to restart itself for some reason. So when i went to print it, everything was gone. I have no idea if it would still be in the temporary files. or where to look. I was up writing it pretty much the whole night and i really need help!!

i've installed it on 2 machines on the same network. a network involving only a wireless router which gives us our ip addresses. I installed pc gateway because that's supposed to make it so my computer can be behind a router. and it just doesn't work. i can't seem to figure out what's wrong, and I've tried many things. I tried fowarding ports on my router and set up static ip addresses for my computers and they are set up not to aquire addresses automatically.
I know my external ip address, i've got it memorized because i've typed it in about 400 times this week. that address never changes. so i'm assuming i have a static ip address from my isp? it's optonline cable if that makes a difference.

This is my last question and then I will purchase. I know the Nikon D80 has a 1/4000 shutter speed while the Canon Rebel XTi has a 1/8000. Is there much difference? When do you use each speed? I don't do much of speed shots but I just want to know that if I ever need to, I won't have a problem of the speed being to slow to capture the image.
