There were no sites I was able to access that showed the names of the principal tributaries of the Mekong, but according to the Encyclopedia Britannica there are 12 principal tributaries of the Mekong River. It lists only 4:
>Tha River in northwestern Laos;
>Ou River in northern Laos
>Mun River in eastern Thailand
>Irrawaddy River in Myanmar (formerly Burma);
I found one more:
>Tonle Sap, Cambodia;

The Yellow River (Huang He) is in north China. The Yangtze is in critical China and flows usually east into the Yellow Sea. The Mekong flows from western China then flows usually south by SE Asia pertaining to Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, and Cambodia to empty into the South China Sea. The Ganges bypass in particular in Northern India from west to east in the previous turning south to the Bay of Bengal. The Rio Grande flows south by New Mexico in the previous turning usually southeast to style the border with Mexico. It flows into the Gulf of Mexico on the southern tip of Texas.
