I guess you want to know which will result in a warmer beverage.

There should be no significant difference. The coffee and the cream both have specific heat contents that are additive in the mixture.

The coffee will have a thermal gradient that will eventually bring the liquid to room temperature. Same with the cream (although it will likely be gaining heat). Same with the mixture.

The only difference will be in the containers. Assuming the coffee is in a ceramic cup, most heat transfer will be from the surface (radiant, convective, vapor) and less through the insulating ceramic sides.

What is the cream kept in? Perhaps a small plastic single-serving container? Perhaps a metal or glass pitcher.

Let's say it is metal. Then the cream will reach equilibrium faster than the coffee. Again, the difference will be insignificant, but the cream will rise to room temperature faster than the coffee will drop to it. So I would add it later.

The rate of heat loss is an approximately linear function of temperature difference, therefore (assuming the cream is already room temp. and not colder), adding the cream now as opposed to later will lower the coffee temperature a little such that it will cool more slowly (resulting in less overall heat loss). Waiting till later to add the cream will allow the coffee to cool more quickly while waiting, resulting in a lower temperature (given the same total waiting time).
