Why did the northern barbarians not ever get conquerd by the civilised world, cos I mean the other races always got conquerd and got civilised, how did the northern barbarians (Germanians and Celts) stop ancient impirial powers from conquering them.

If a person has sex with several people, that person is automatically labeled as a **** & mocked by the general public. Why is this so? Maybe the person is not emotionally ready for a relationship as yet, or the person has not met a relationship-material person as yet, but until that time what's wrong with having some fun?

I mean, this is what older adults tell teens so that they keep their focus on studies, or encourage to build up good relationship ethics when they turn into adults. But once they're adults, why people criticize them if they sleep around? They have to look at the person's situation and make a proper judgment, instead of stereotyping them as "****s".

What are your views on this?

i'm so hurt! i'm 6mo pregnant and my fiance broke up with me becuase he said he was tired of the aggrevation and mood swings ( WHO SAYS THAT!!?? ) i know i'm an idiot for doing this but i always call him and tell him i want to have a family that to please give it a chance to work that his reason of leaving is rediculous an he keeps telling me no he likes it the way it is now. last night he asked me if we could still have sex i said no because one i know he just wants to use me and two i know he will be having sex with other people as well and i told him that. he said well if you wont give it to me i'm going to go to someone else. that killed me inside we were together for 3 years and for him to say that is is wrong. then he said ok give me some time and we can be together when the baby is born i want you to come back to the apartment and all this b.s then this morning he says i don't know what i want to do yet. y is he doing this to me. how to i be stong and move on?

My boss is 27 and she has a boyfriend. My colleague is married and he is 49. I work with both of them. It is just the three of us in a room, working as designers for a large architecture firm. I started with them in December and they were both very nice to me. I am pretty quiet and do my work without asking them many questions. They are EXTREMELY FLIRTATIOUS, and massage each other's back, and make risque comments to each other The other day, the owner of the company wanted to move me to another department to cover for a girl who just went on maternity leave. An hour later, He then decided to not move me and keep me where I was. Since then my colleague and boss have been very cold to me , I didn't have any problems before that. I believe that they are angry that they can't be openly flirtatious with each other. How do I handle this , it is extremely uncomfortable????
