When I was but a sprog, I went to a very progressive infant school in the late 60's.
I have enduring memories of miss Appleby playing her guitar, barefoot, with flowers painted on her cheeks, singing songs about an old woman who sold balloons that flew to the moon.
Which way did the sixties go? We were going to the moon, for goodness sake! Look around, this is the future I was promised! Frankly, I feel rather let down!
