If a person has sex with several people, that person is automatically labeled as a **** & mocked by the general public. Why is this so? Maybe the person is not emotionally ready for a relationship as yet, or the person has not met a relationship-material person as yet, but until that time what's wrong with having some fun?

I mean, this is what older adults tell teens so that they keep their focus on studies, or encourage to build up good relationship ethics when they turn into adults. But once they're adults, why people criticize them if they sleep around? They have to look at the person's situation and make a proper judgment, instead of stereotyping them as "****s".

What are your views on this?

It's a double-edged sword.
On one hand, sexual experience is a great thing. Just as one can't learn to be a chef by only tasting one specific food, one can not learn to be a great lover simply by having one sexual experience. Every person has a different set of what works for them; a good lover will learn to recognize this and how to make their lover feel extraordinarily happy.

That said, food is not something that responds with any sort of emotional connection. A chef can taste twelve different kinds of chocolate, and the chocolate will not feel used.

If one is going to sexually experienced, one needs to learn a few things.
1) Sexually transmitted diseases are real. They can kill you. Learn how to have safe, clean sex. Always use a condom for any sort of penetration.
2) People should not be used as toys. If you are going to have a variety of sexual experiences, you must enter into each situation with the utmost honesty. Do not fake an interest in a commitment simply to get into someone's pants. There is a reason why Don Giovanni goes to hell at the end of the opera: it's not that he is so experienced, it is that he lied his way from bedroom to bedroom.
3) Different countries have different ways of viewing sex. I don't know if you're writing from the US or not; my experience shows me that the US is strangely obsessed with/frightened of sex. Sex has become a powerful undercurrent in politics, religion, advertizing because so many people are afraid to be upfront about their desires and practices.
4) There is a great book that was written in 1998 called 'The Ethical Slut.' It offers the viewpoint that we can have various sexual experiences and still be good, ethical people. In fact, it says that the only way to have good, various sexual experiences is to make sure you have your own life and heart in order. Definitely worth reading.
5) As a previous poster said, it can be a dangerous trap to think that the only thing you can offer someone is sex. Sex can be a great way to express yourself, but if you have no self to express it can create more hunger than it satisfies.
6) If you really know yourself and your true motives, nothing others will say should matter.

Most teens do not understand the consequences they can face by sleeping around.....usually you realize that later in life when you have an STD, child support obligations for the next 18 years, or married to someone you shouldn't have married. Then the matter of having some self respect, if you sleep around, by the time you marry, what will be special about the intimacy between you and your spouse if you've been around. Worse, if the "right" person you married isn't as good as someone else, will you feel you can love them as much? Sadly, if you hadn't slept around, you wouldn't even know the answer to that question, nor would it even come up in your thoughts. There is something nice about keeping your innocence. Too many teens just give it away for the sake of "fun" and many adults regret that later in life. It is a personal decision though. Hope that helps!

because once upon a time, there was a thing called respect and proper behavior. now in today's world if you have not slept with somone within 6 months or at least be very experienced, you are considered to be a loser or not doing something right. good point on your question, but at the same time, people need to show some self-control and not sleep with the first cute person they run into.

Well personally I don't care what other people do with their spare time. When they start having affairs or even having sex with someone who is only in a relationship is where they are crossing the line. But one reason people act like that is for something to talk about, another is because of morals. I just hope you have heard of AIDS.

Good question.
So many women love Sex and the city and Desperate housewives, but if it really happened around them, they'd make judgement.
I think it's a jealousy thing. They're just not happy they don't have the confidence to do it or are stuck in a boring marriage.
They are probably sexually frustrated so to make themselves feel better they put down those who know how to have fun.
I don't think there is anything wrong with it, "Try before you buy", I say. As long as you're practising safe sex though and also the legal age of course.

People who sleep around often have many other emotional problems that leave them vulnerable to the criticism of society, and we, unfortunately, live in a society where people feel free to point fingers.

I feel nothing but sadness for the person who feels the only thing they have to give someone is sex.

I think people criticize mostly if that person also cheats on a girlfriend/boyfriend. Which often happens if they are that way inclined.
I don't have a problem with it if no one is going to get hurt.

I don't see anything wrong with sleeping around, as long as you are using protection and not spreading disease. I don't think that we, as humans, are supposed to be with just one person all the time. You have to diversify and enjoy what life has to offer.

My view: The sleepers-around can easily avoid being judged by talking about something other than who they've been sleeping with. And their partners will appreciate them all the more for it.
