I am getting married in August 2007 and we have only 5 months to save money and get this thing done. We have a beautiful gazebo in our backyard and we plan to have the wedding there. We would then like to have the reception also in the backyard, since we have a large concrete patio to put tables and chairs. But when it comes to food, decorations, music, etc, does anyone have any suggestions on how would be the best way to budget these? We are not getting any help from our families financially so we are in this alone in that respect. Please help??

They should get 1 chance to make their dunk, not 2 minutes to make a joke out of the contest. I had to stop watching it when Nate Robinson was trying over and over again to make the same dunk. Didn't I see that last year? I know for sure I won't see it next year because I won't be tuning in. Thanks NBA for ruining the best part of All -Star weekend.

It's a freaking magazine. Can someone please explain to me why women would go to a magazine written by WOMEN to find out what MEN want? You would think they'd want a magazine written by men or something...that makes more sense (in my opinion)

The rest of the house has been painted this very light pale yellow. When you walk in the front door there is a double door width opening to our living room on the right. Just beyond it is a double door width opening to our dining room. So you can see it from the living room. Our dining room has a white chair rail & the bottom half of it is that pale yellow color throught the rest of the house. I'd like to eventually get walnut/white furniture for the dining area.
We have a modern/contemporoary style & a red sectional in our living room. I was thinking of painting the dining room top half a dark red (not bright, I guess with brown mixed in) & the bottom half white w/ a white chair rail. I was concerned of having too much red tones in these areas. Would it make us feel tense or angry? Or would it flow nicely. I also considered a sage green or orange? It's just such a scary decision for me since we don't have a lot of $ to redo it if ugly. Also have khaki carpet in there.

Just look at the way the guy gets revenge on his papa's enemys. Bill Clinton killed Bush 41 politically, then even after leaving office, Saddam Hussein tried to rub him out. Now "Sonny" Bush has managed to have Saddam Hussein executed, and he's leaving his successor Hillary Clinton with this bomb called "Iraq" thats going to blow up in her face and limit her to a single term. And people say the guy's an idiot........

My husband has a son with his ex wife. His son is 14 and my husband has 4 years of child support left to pay. He added it up and by the time he turns 18 in 4 years my husband will pay $22,000 more to his ex-wife for child support. Can my husband and I just pay her the $22,000 and she sign off on all future child support?

My husband has a great relationship with his son. He talks to him almost daily and he buys him gifts/ pays for him to visit us. He would still be in his sons life and have his son on his medical benefits, he just wants to get the whole weekly child support payments out of the way.

Are men allowed to pay child suport in one lump sum?

Statistics don't back that up! Whenever more economic freedom is given to a people placed under a big government tyranny, they can pull the poverty level up. When more government is used, the poverty might get a free vaccine but are paying twice as much for everything else in the private sector, food, housing, cars!
Please google economic freedom and notice those nations that use alot of government and those who do not! You will notice almost every single big government country can't even afford to pay for their poor people anymore! No everyone is poor and doesn't have healthcare! Drain, drain, drain the economy, maybe that will help!(sarcasm)

Someone I was involved with. This is the same person I had a nasty argument & made horrible/vicious insults about his Mom & Son & wished bad on both of them. I also apologized profusely & acknowledged that I was wrong & only said those things out of anger, bcuz he said things to hurt ME. Xmas came, I was extremely generous to him, his son & his mom. I never even got a Xmas OR birthday card from him & that really hurt. However, we still text messaged each other now & then, made it clear how angry I was at him for being so UNthoughtful for the holidays & my b-ay, however, we were still "ok" with each other. At 2am this morning he called me crying hysterically. He lost his son in a fire. I was on the phone with him all nite/morning. I'm so sorry this happened. I wish there were something I can do, but what do you say/do 4 someone who just lost their baby? I want to fly out to his town even if it's just for a few hours, just to pay respects, show support. Should I do that?
