i handed in my resignation on monday 12 february. i told my director that i will work 4 weeks and my last working day will be 9 march. i do not have a contract, but thought i would work 4 weeks as we are already short staffed.
my other director is making it very difficult for me to work out my notice period. he is being very rude towards me, and he has taken it very personally that i resigned.
one of the reasons i resigned is that i am 8 weeks pregnant and the work enviroment is very high stress. the situation is so bad now, that i am more stressed now, than before i resigned. i cannot stay and work another 3 weeks as this will defeat the entire object of resigning.
what will be the best way, if any, to let my director know that i would like to leave at the end of the week, and not work out my notice period.
