Scold's Bridles were used extensively to teach women not to speak out of turn, to not gossip and, in the case of workhouse inmates, to not speak to other inmates. However, I have been unable to find any cases where it was used on a man. I know that women have a tendenacy to talk a lot more than men, and gossip is usually associated with women much more than men, but surely there has been at least one man in history that had a problem with jabbering too much...

n a small cathedral, a janitor was cleaning the pews between services when he was approached by the priest.

The priest asked the janitor, "Could you go into the confessional and listen to confessions for me? I really have to go to the bathroom and Widow McGee is coming. She tends to go on and on but never really does anything worthy of serious repentance, so when she's done, just give her 10 Hail Marys. I'll be right back."

Being the helpful sort, the janitor agreed. Just as expected, Widow McGee came into the booth and started her confession.

"Oh Father, I fear I have done the unforgivable," she said. "I have given into carnal thoughts and have had oral sex."

Stunned, the janitor had no idea how to handle this situation—surely 10 Hail Marys would not do. So in a moment of desperation, the janitor peeked his head out of the confessional and asked an altar boy, "Son, what does the priest give for oral sex?"

The altar boy replied, "Two Snickers bars and a Coke."

I think many people till now must have asked this question. But can you please tell me is their any website or any software or something from where i can download from newest to oldest hollywood movies????? I have tried limewire,bearshare,warez and many more but they are just too slow and does not work and even downloading them takes ages.. Please tell me a good website. Well deserved 10 points!! ok.....i downloaded recently sa-mp.i enter sa-mp choose internet window and selecting a server...i choose connect when i choose connect he enter to game(san andreas)and when he enter the game
he shoes me nothing just same old game san andreas i mean he do nothing just he enteres to game...it should show me something??? i want to play!!!!!!............help

My bloke was sleepwalking the other night. At first he was trying to sleep on my head whilst grinding his teath, then he got up and went to the tiolet and ended up sleeping on the sofa in the lounge.

By doing this he woke me up so then I needed to go to the toilet so I went through to find id sat on a soaking wet toilet seat (he usually always lifts the seat) with pea all over the floor. I then needed to have a midnight shower before going back to bed.

He eventually came back to bed with no recollection!

Isro is in “Satellite launching business” and now goes in commercialization of the launching business. Isro also offers Satellite launching services to countries, which do not have the launch facility.

Space technology needs constant research and development and should not remain limited only to Satellite building and launching. I have witnessed that the best technocrats produced by our IIT, under “aerospace and propulsion” becomes the part of Nasa because of limited scopes offered by Isro. It is a fault of Indian Government that they allot the huge budget for the defense R & D, which has produced very less so far. It doesn’t mean that DRDO doesn’t need it. But, DOS (Dept. of Space) should equally promote Isro for the new R & D in the advanced space technology. I salute Isro scientists who are managing everything in the limited budget.

Our Indian people do not understand the significance of the best establishment (Isro) we have. It is a fault of DOS for not having tried introducing “India and Space” in the Science subjects of schools. DOS should provide complimentary photographs of our developed space technology to be hanged on the walls of the school. It will certainly create the base curiosity among the growing generation of India. After few years, it will be hard to find any person who is not aware about Isro and its developments.

Nasa is more on “exploration” than satellite launching. Moon, Saturn, Mars, Jupiter and Pluto have already been explored by landing or by taking very close look of them. Hubble is for the deep universe and has reveled extraordinary secrets of the deep universe.

Nasa is “exploration”, where as Isro is a “requirement”. So, cannot be compared with each other. I trust the above article will help my friends who is not aware about the difference between Isro and Nasa.

At school I kicked boys before that were bugging me and they never bothered me again! Ok, maybe once or twice I pretended to be pis.sed of.f just to do it, but I am sure they did something wrong to girls sometime so they deserved it anyway, besides girls in my year do it all the time. Some of the boys were almost as big as my Dad, so if I can beat them…
The problem is that he doesn’t let me do everything I want! Just one example, even when I don’t have classes the next day until 10AM, he still don’t let me watch TV past midnight! I know I have to thank my Dad for being a girl, because I learned in school that sperm is what determines the gender of the baby, but that doesn’t give him the right to tell me what to do, it’s MY life!! My patience has limits, you know? I already taught my younger Brother a lesson and worked very well on him. Should I teach my Dad too?

Why are politicians in the philippines not sincere with running the government fairly and in favour of the poor, instead they all work for themselves and their own pockets and benefits. Movie stars and famous people run the government sometimes people without knowledge or education let alone running a country. The ordinary people in the country are being duped with famous politician/movie stars. These politicians takes advantage of people's poverty and needs.
