I assume top companies want risk takers at the helm. Such severance packages seem to wipe out the risk. I would think companies would not only want top performers, but those who would see it as a priviledge, a challenge to lead such a company.

I recently sold a few things on ebay & have had nothing but BAD LUCK with the deadbeats lurking on that site.

I have 2 different buyers who are doing the exact same thing to me. It's almost comical how 2 different transactions can play out in such similar ways! They've both had over a month to pay, and received invoice reminders & friendly emails. But all I got were excuses, lies & promises... and still no payment! $#&@*!

So I filed unpaid item disputes thru ebay & they've ignored the disputes completely. Disputes are ready to close, at which point they'll get unpaid item strikes & lose feedback priveleges for these transactions. Anyway, now I must leave them both negatives & I'm VERY MUCH looking forward to it. *evil laugh*

So, I figured there must be a lot of people who've never had the opportunity to leave a negative & maybe you'd want to help me think of something really good... I mean reeeally, reeeally baaaad. Help a girl out here! What feedback would you leave for this?

Yesterday I went to my doctor and instead of doing blood work first they did an ultrasound. On the ultrasound they saw nothing except something round in my ovary. They began getting worried because they thought maybe it was an ectopic pregnancy. However, my blood work came back with 958 as the HCG. I asked and they said that it may be just too soon to see anything...has anyone else had this happen to them? Is 958 a bad number to have? The first day of my last period was Dec 20, 06. I couldn't be more than a few weeks along...should I be afraid something is wrong? I'm not bleeding or in severe pain just achey and tired.

My husband and I have been together for 17years. We have been married for 7 of those. We got together when we were 19 & 20. We have 2 wonderful kids and a house, we get along most of the time but lately things are going south. i recently lost my job and am staying home to raise the kids. I had a hair stylist recommend that I wash my bleached/highlighted hair only twice a week, max. My hair tends to get oily but I don’t want to damage my hair anymore than I already have by highlighting it, so I am wondering if anyone has had this work for them. And how do you keep your hair feeling fresh and clean by not washing it everyday?

Approx how many men(minimum) do you reckon would it take to occupy a city of about half a million?

The city is declared an open city ,the population is peaceful but extremely aggitated.Theres about 15 major roads into the city.

The city hall,the hospitals,all transport hubs including port facilities,military barracks,police stations,court house, power and water supply all have to be taken in the first few hours.

For everyone that took a stab at my seemingly elusive question, that some found too vague to answer properly, I have decided to go ahead and repost (yet again) and give the answer that I had in mind. And then, just receive comments in regard to the asnwer.

So here we go... I started off by saying that the answer to this question, in -my- opinion, is a deep seated pattern in life. I went on to say that I felt that the asnwer to this question gives a lot of insight into the way individuals act as they age (whether that be positively or not). And lastly, I feel that this pattern, while basic and simple, is still a bit elusive to our minds because we take it a bit for granted.

Some of the answers I received were the following::
Think, Love, Learn, Exist, etc.

And I must say that those are all VERY good answers. They truly ARE all things that we do from day 1. Yet, in my opinion, the answer I have in my mind almost explains a bit more about those answers above.
