That really depends on what part of Canada you're talking about. Eastern Ontario and Quebec's people mostly came from France and England, while a lot of people in the marittimes came from Northern Europe, while in the west they are the same people who chose to settle west. Some Asian people came to the west coast, and of course, there are the Inuit and Native American people who where there the entire time. But we're all Canadian. That's what makes the history so interesting.

do you mean the original colonizers? they were from england and france.
but nowadays, canadians originate from pretty much every country on the globe!

England. BUT most Canadians I know have Polish names (or is it slavic) so I'm guess you had a lot of Eastern Europeans immigrate.
And France...lets not forget them.
AND Africa and I suspect Asia too.

unlike the rest of humanity, who evolved from apes, Canadians evolved from bears. not the big, nasty tooth and claw ones that lurk around in Canada now, but little cute fluffy ones. this is the reason why all Canadians are so endearing and do not pick nits off each other or play with their genitals in public.

Canda, like the U.S., has been populated by immigrants. Some from Norway and Iceland, some from France, but pretty much all over.
