“The president is merely the most important among a large number of public servants. He should be supported or opposed exactly to the degree which is warranted by his good conduct or bad conduct, his efficiency or inefficiency in rendering loyal, able, and disinterested service to the Nation as a whole.

“Therefore it is absolutely necessary that there should be full liberty to tell the truth about his acts, and this means that it is exactly necessary to blame him when he does wrong as to praise him when he does right. Any other attitude in an American citizen is both base and servile.”

Former President Theodore Roosevelt wrote this editorial in the Kansas City Star in January 1918, responding to the Wilson Administration’s treatment of critics of the president’s leadership in the First World War (they jailed them under the Espionage Act).

What happened to the GOP since then?

Why is it that a girl will go with you tell you that you are the one they want for life as you are exactly what they want in a man ..then when they marry you .they set about changing the way you look .think.act where you go. who you talk to and what to say..if you have a favourite shirt ..etc..they want you to get rid of it..they don't like the plants you tenderly and lovingly nurtured..you say your not keen on animals living in the house ..and they go out and by a rat ..or something,,why can't they leave things alone...?

2 years ago the newspaper ads and temporary agencies often had Filing clerk, general Scanning clerk, or things like that. But recently there isn't any of that. I'm guessing cause those responsibilities are now included in higher level positions so that your administrative assistant will do his stuff and also the filing part.

I'm just a simple person with filing skills , general office skills and computer skills but i'm no professional at anything, also i have problems with speaking. So if those type of basic jobs are now disappearing in society, what can inexperienced people like me do? I would settle for minimum wage jobs if i could live with that but that's not possible

he's disruptive and using very inappropriate content. i mean, there could be kids on here! I'm not exactly upset that he's making fun of me, I'm not that childish, but he shouldn't be allowed to write such things on here.

Some of you know i have posted a question if i should get a bird, rabbit and now im thinking a hamster?! I was wondering which one i should get. Can you help? please?

Key:
Post your opinion on which animal i should get, it could even be something diffrent then what i posted, if you think its best.

My house is active durring the holidays, and sometimes in between, but, on weekdays, i have to go to school, mom and dad leave to work at 5:00 am! my sisters are in collage and my aunt is 80 so she sleeps all day. We have no allergies to any animal. we have a big house with lots of room, but only one room where a pet like a rabbit can be them, and it would be confined (pointing to any animal) to the room because we have 4 cats that domminate the house.

Hope that helpes!

thx! ill cheak back soon.

I have 2 cats, and occassionally both of them will kind of freak out (ears perked up and tail swishing), lick themselves compulsively, run a few feet, stop, and lick comulsively again. It's almost like they have an itch thats driving them nuts. What is that all about? Dry skin maybe because of being inside during the winter? Any suggestions?

every day we play the game of life and we do it well. do we play chess or do we play poker. basically I talking about how we solve problems. some people are calculative {chess} and some people bluff there way through life {poker}.

which is the way you solve problems and why.

here some examples of how each work.

poker solution: when someone his holding something good against you. you instaly solution and bluff an say you have something better or try to by them off.

chess solution to that problem: you think for hours as you come up with a way to solve the problem. eventually putting the other person in check mate.

I kind of both

p.s. you can go with another game for your answer if you' like.

Well, I would once I'd solved everybody's problems by shouting at them and telling them that in the middle of all of this was an innocent child. While sitting on the steps like a wino..
