We have been married for 1 year now. My wife's immigration was approved but we are still waiting for her visa so that she can move here. Therefore, she has not received a SSN yet. Can I file jointly and if so how?

Not a vampire like Dracula, but a person who saps your energy. Most people don't do this but every now and then I meet a person or they are in my circle of friends and as soon as I start talking to them I find myself completely drained of converstaion, of energy, of creativity - while they seem to explode with the same. I watch them with other people and find that soon enough the other person is just sitting there and the "vampire" is full of life. Have you ever met someone like that? Is it just in my mind or do some people have the ability to feed from another person's creative energy and somehow not give back?

cause we're everywhere. freakin everywhere!
yet they either go for the married guy or the total jerk, that way when it all goes to heck, they can justify everything by saying all men are crap. puh-lease. women, wake up!

My husband is descended from the same line as William Wallace and we are both of Scottish descent. We are expecting a baby and are looking for names. We would like to have a traditonal Scottish name (or Celtic for my Irish descent) and were wondering If William Wallace's real name was William or if it was something else that the English translated to William.

some ppl commented that i may look a bit fierce/serious, especially when im not smiling while some think its normal for everyone to look a lil fierce n serious when not smilling ..

I want to go to Japan with my sister for spring break to visit our friend and see the country. My mom said okay...but my dad said no way. I'm going to pay for it all mysel but he says it's too dangerous. Doesn't Japan have one of the lowest crime rates in the world?

Should we just buy the tickets and go? When I asked my dad what he would do if we did that...he said he would just be upset.

I'm 15 and I just found out yesterday one of my friends is a lesbian. I had a hint she might be but I didnt want to assume anything. yesterday she made a comment about her kissing her girlfriend so obviously i was sure. when we were just sitting there talking earlier and she kinda just reached over and stroked my face. I was totally weirded out and just kinda didnt do anything. Theres been a few other times too. I dont know what to say to her because i'm a little weirded out but i want to keep her as a friend. and i dont want ot lea her on or anything, im straight. What am i supposed to do/say????? I'm clueless. My friends have told me i should just act as if nothings happened.
