Not a vampire like Dracula, but a person who saps your energy. Most people don't do this but every now and then I meet a person or they are in my circle of friends and as soon as I start talking to them I find myself completely drained of converstaion, of energy, of creativity - while they seem to explode with the same. I watch them with other people and find that soon enough the other person is just sitting there and the "vampire" is full of life. Have you ever met someone like that? Is it just in my mind or do some people have the ability to feed from another person's creative energy and somehow not give back?

People will feed off your energy and that is why when one is even the least depressed and you are not strong enough to handle it, you should avoid them at all costs. These vampires are drug users and emotional off-set with some life issues.They drag, sad, dirty looking. slured speech and cannot relate conversations. Thank God they are not real vampires and can get hold to a person blood but feeds on our energy only.

Yes. Unfortunately, I spent a time in my life when I seemed to attract them. One was a lover, one was a wife (not at the same time!). It was only when I was away from both that I saw how destructive they were.
The lover vampire was just a lost soul. My wife (now my ex wife!) was pure evil. She truly did suck all life and all hope out of me. She made herself feel better by knocking me down.
Both have made me more aware of this type of person, so when I meet one, I leave immediately, no matter what the social or professional situation

I am one. For the record we don't intentionally drain people without their knowledge and permission this is an unethical attack...well most of us don't. If someone is draining you chances are they aren't aware that they are. We are not evil or trying to hurt people..we just have a spiritual affliction...

Most of these "vampires" know ziltch about the true history of the real human vampires. Those are the accult wannabes. Actual human vampires are based on what come natural.

Yes I have met people like that myself. I don't honestly think they are sapping the other peoples energiy, but instead have such a surplus of energy that it may seem that way.

That's an interesting question!! I can't say that I actually have. I will have to put some thought into it though. But you know, I bet there are people out there that can really do that...

Yes, it's best to stay away from them if possible. They do suck your energy out and you can't get it back from them! Time will bring it back then you have to keep it by staying away from the psyche vampires.

I've met plenty of emotional vampires, people who suck and suck away all your energy and leave you feeling horrible.
My advice a very simple stay away

yep i know what your talking about, freak of nature, some of them think they have to act that way around you or other people for attention or some other weird reason
