If I was a working-poor white guy nearing middle-age, earning less then $30000 a year, without much education, working a dead-end unskilled blue-collar job, and I lived in a crumbling city neighbourhood of an old industrial city like Detroit, Cleveland, Buffalo, or Pittsburgh; typically, what kind of vehicle would I drive? Please feel free to tell me anything else that comes to mind about a character like this. I'm thinking of writing a character like this into a short story, and any thoughts would help. Thanks!

This girl was my best friend for a while, then one day i acsidentially called her stupid, which is compulsory for me and she knew that. but when i had reallized what i had done, i appologized immediatly, but she just slapped me upside the head as hard as she could and walked away. I just recently made a new male friend at a little party. We exchanged numbers as friends. Just a few days ago I called him for the hell of it and he asked me if I wanted to hang out. It was kind of late, but I was bored. He picked me up we talked and drove around then I went to his place. We were just blabbing and me losing my virginty and me wishing I didn't was brought up. He was comfoting me, and held my hand. We went into talking about his pervious reletionships. He was being nice and patted/rubbing me on the back a little. Was he hitting on me? Was he just being nice? His friend I met him through told me after they left he said I was nice. He's been single for 2 years. He's 25 and I'm 20 and will be 21 in 3 months. I would maybe like to get to know him more, as a friend. Does it sound like he likes me? Was he flirting?

http://www.UnitedForPeace.org is coordinating a march on Washington, DC for January 27th to protest the war in Iraq, and the president's suggestion to send more troops rather than bringing our sons, daughters, husbands, wives, mothers and fathers home.

Many other organizations are trying to rally the American public to protest this meaningless war and the continued devastation of lives. What actions have you taken, and/or what references and ideas can you give the rest of us so we can make our voices heard? Please provide links when possible.

Who else thinks that the longest reigning championship thing is so OVERRATED? I mean, he doesn't put it on the line, but once every 2 months. Im about 7wks pregnant, and a couple of days ago after returning home from shopping I went to the loo and noticed a little bit of blood. It was pinky/reddy in colour, not a lot though (no clots/tissue or dark red blood) but im concerned. its my 1st pregnancy and im excited. i called nhs direct helpline they said they not sure could be implantation bleeding but that will have already happened weeks ago surely? Theres nothing there now, it sorted turned to a kind of brown discharge then stopped, like when youre coming off your period. Is this normal? I dont want to lose my baby :-S
