I really like Eminem, and I'm a 40 year old mother of two. I would not say he is a role model, but there are very few celebrities that I would call a role model. He's very talented, bordering on genius. His style reminds me a lot of Jim Morrison from the Doors. He's mostly a poet, secondary to being a musician. It's just that his poetry makes great music.

He first came out controversial and a "bad role model", then he became the most lyrical rapper out there, then became a sell out with stupid dance songs, and now with the re-up he's back to his lyrical roots, but one things for sure.. He's always been a good rapper. He may have had a period of time where I personally thought he sucked and sold out, but he's always been good. I also say that now he's an acceptable role model because he's not all Slim Shady, and he's serious about his business and daughter.

i think hes great sure some of his songs have crude words but hey so does alot of singers and i love that fact that he sings about what he knows and how he feels you can relly learn alot about him just by his words.

noone is really in the entertainment biz to be a role model... at least most of them do not do it solely because of that...

have you listened to his lyrics? most of them are amazing.
and he is one of the only rappers that are actually trying to change and become good.

He is forgetable as britney spears. Had he been black he wouldn't have made it as far as he has. Only his white fans seem to keep him afloat. He has to act bad just to stay somewhat popular.
I like m&ms though.
