Laxer and Laxest just sound so wrong, and usually I go by the way it sounds on things like this. However, I looked it up, and this page http://www.bibliodata.com/lax.htm says that laxer and laxest is correct. Would more lax and most lax also be correct?

I dont believe what my doctor tells me....?

My OBGYN told me that I have polycystic ovarian syndrome but I do not believe her. The only symptom that I have is that I have not had my period in 13 months. I have taken many pregnancy tests over the last year and I am obviously not pregnant. I also had an ultrasound done for cysts, and nothing. The only results that I have had turn up something were my blood tests. The doctor said that they gave me that diagnosis because of my LH and FSH ratios, but I had nothing wrong with my levels of androgens or thyroid. Does anyone have any ideas because my doctor is seriously lacking some customer service skills?

for people who spend long recurring hours using the COMPUTER?

hi, im writting something and i would like to ask you a few questions, if thats ok with you. ok here they are:
1.what makes you want to use the computer so much?? why spend more time with a machine than with people??
2.what do you think could make you leave the computer for an instant (that has nothing to do with going to the bathroom or any other phisical needs).
3.what words would you use to describe yourself.
4.what words would you use to describe your computer.
5.how would you describe your "relationship" (yes, relationship) with your computer and how would you describe your relationship with people.

How do pet food companies kill the frozen mice&rats that are used for feeding snakes?

I assume they don't poison them, since that would likely be a problem for the snakes that eat them. Starving them would be inhumane and would also make them a pretty poor meal. So, how do they do it?

Global Warming - What kind of Tree uses the most CO2?

If the problem with Global Warming has to do with having fewer and fewer trees to convert the CO2 into O2, why don't we see major analysis work being done to determine the best absorber plant for CO2 and movements to plant lots and lots of them rather quickly. Think of all the vacant roofs on apartment buildings and government buildings that could become homes to new trees in pots, and jobs for people to water them - sell automatic watering systems - report on cleaner air quality due to the new trees.

Why has my Dooney and Bourke (cream-coloured) purse turned an icky yellow colour?

I have a Dooney and Bourke purse--the cream coloured one with the multi-coloured "DB" all over it--that I haven't taken out of the closet for a while. It has now turned a hideous yellow-y colour. Any ideas why, or how to fix this? Thanks!
