Sims 2 DS Help?

I want to delete one of my data profiles, but I don't know how. Can anyone please tell me how to delete the profiles without having to overwrite them with a new profile?

press x y b a and the 2 side buttons at the back at the same time. hope this helps.

there should be a reset button
