Inquisitions, crusades, witch trials and jihad appear particular to the above-mentioned mythologies. Unless one goes back to the Aztecs, I can't think of any other religions even remotely as violent. It appears that belief in vicious gods makes vicious people. And if the god is vicious, what is it you worship other than fear?
Oddly enough, Judaism appears to have found a decent interpretation of the Old Testament, despite the cruelty in it. Still, one out of three Abrahamic religions isn't enough for peace in the world. Until the other two are completely revamped, there will be war after war after war.

We've had an increasingly obnoxious person who kind of barged his way into our weekly friendly hold 'em game putting everybody on edge. Now, we're pretty nice guys, so short of tellling (him)

I am a single woman with a dog and live on S.S.I.. Please help me to decide where it would be nice to live. I am very sensitive and don't work. I really am a nice person and basically easy to get along with. I am not looking for a relationship. I like to do volunteer work and go to church. I saw this poster in psychology class, but I do not know its name or artist. It has two children in the middle with invisible limbs. There are burning books, a crooked picture of the leaning tower of piza, a hot air baloon outside, a ship with water and other crazy things. What you see first reveals your inner desires (see the burning books, yearn for knowledge---see the crooked picture, yearn for order). I have looked everywhere but cannot find it! If anyone knows what I'm talking about I would be very appreciative.

On you tube they, RRS, has issued a challenge for people to post video denying the Holy Spiit and God and Jesus. This is exactly what the devil wants. How can we stop this? There are already over 9000 responces, don't they realize what they are doing? It deeply hurts to see people saying such things. Please, pray for these people.
