If you are shopping for a 42" plasma, Panasonic is one of the best brands you can get. Costco has a 42" Panasonic Plasma TV on coupon soon...I don't have any experience with Viore, but if you are looking for a cheaper plasma, Vizio is decent.

I have a Philips 42 inch Plasma HDV tv IT is great and very sharp even in small apt living rooms..
Try diff Plasma TVs from Rent a Center every month..first month usually free or you can return it and try another..If you don`t like it.
