I'm an international senior high school student, and I'm planning to study my bachelor's in the US. I will finish h.s in july this year, and I haven't applied for any college yet, and even if I do now I will not have time to be there for the fall semester, because of they delays of the visas and such, so I'm wondering, is there any way I could apply for college after july 2007, or should I wait for next year?

All I ever see are answers that are one side or the other, or the wimpy fence wafflers (e.g., believe whatever is best for you). It's all the same thing over and over, regardless of the question -- and the thumbs have nothing to do with whether the answer is cogent; only if it agrees with someone's theology or not. What is the point???

Most U.S. band are pretty waterdowned (every dumb emo band out there) with the exception of a few (killers, interpol, cold war kids, etc)

Like God killing sooo many people including but not limited to:

-The first born of the Egyptians
-Everyone in the Noah's Ark story (including babies)
- And entire cities, just because they were using the free will he gave us

Or how he lays out rules for having slaves, now sure he never says he endorses slaves, but wouldn't regluating slavery endorse it.

Or the fact that the bible shows women as second rate many many times.

Or that even Jesus calls non-Isrealites dogs.

Or the fact that God is against homosexuality, though approx. 10% of his creations are gay.

I can quote the bible to prove all of these if you wish.

This and the fact that i can't live a good life and get into their heaven unless i accept Jesus (who called me a dog) as my saviour.

Yes there are good parts of the bible, but you have to accept your God is not all loving, and compassionate.

We have owned a hundred dogs, seems like, because we have 2 to 4 at a time in the house. Every one was special, some in a bad way, but most were family members and greatly loved. I am calm and feel loved with my dogs. I sleep with them (they get a lot of baths) and I buy so many collars for them, etc. etc. A hateful aunt once told me I had more pictures of my animals than I did my kids, then stood there looking at me like I was worthless. She is gone now but I still remember how bad she made me feel about loving dogs so much. Did anyone ever make you feel guilty for loving dogs or other pets?

I'm 43 years of age, with a beautiful wife and four kids. I have no visible scars. I wash the Buik once a week, mow the lawn on a Sunday and take the kids to school every day. I've never had an affair and I hate people who lie. Sometimes, I visit the skid-row area in Washington DC and give money to the poor, other times I visit the homeless and hand out food parcels on the street.
I have vowed that if I ever get to the White House, I'll only appear on television strapped to a lie detector.
Well, what do you think? Should I?
