This is a huge test, and one that will affect Hillary greatly. If Pelsoi does a good job, which I do expect from her, Hillary will benefit. If Pelosi screws up badly, Hillary's going to get a lot of that fallout from the Neanderthal crowd and have a harder time getting elected. Pelosi is vital to Hillary's campaign, it's only common sense.

EDIT: Bereal: This is the third answer I have seen from you in which you say the Democratic Congress lied on their first day. What on earth are you talking about?

Hillary is trying to move to the center where Pelosi is more like Howard Dean and the Socialist wing of our party. This is going to be a damage control situation for Hillary's team. They will cringe every time she opens her mouth, appears before the TV camera or even passes gas. Those of us that want to see a moderate Democrat take over are scared this might ruin everything for us. Personally, I am supporting Edwards.

I think Hillary had started the trend which paved the way for Nancy Pelosi. And now in turn, Nancy is setting the stage for Hillary. I am sure she will make the American people happy and proud, paving the way for Hillary.

Pelosi hasn't set a precedence yet and you can't be serious if you think Hillary is going to follow in her footsteps. I'm sure right now Hillary is trying to think of ways to get Peolosi to go away.

Huge difference. Pelosi was put there by her party, not elected to be Speaker.

Hillary has a lot more hurdles to overcome. I doubt she'll get a sniff at a Presidency
