At my aunts wedding, she asked my mom (her sister) to read a peom. You could ask her if she wants you to do something special. Or, you could buy her something she wants to get. Even if you don't do anything, she'll be glad you're there.

You could put together a scrapbook with photos and letters from the all of the bridesmaids and any special women in her life. They would write a story about something about her, like the first time they met her or a good funny story.

A gift certificate to a spa or to get a manicure is always nice. I got married a couple years ago. One thing is always show up on time for dress shopping and fittings and all rehersals. It is very frustrating to have to hold things up for someone who is late. Being that she is a little ways away, you can always lend a listening ear on the phone when needed.

Give her a gift certificate for some relaxation, planning a wedding is stressful, so how about, Movie tickets, a spa card (or even a basket of spa goodies), gift cards to a local resturant, send her flowers, or even a nice piece of jewelry!

If you want to do something that is different and touchs her heart, then may I suggest you have a star named after the married couple, I.E. Mr. & Mrs. Smith, You can do this over the internet and they will send you a map of where it is and how to see it from Earth. It can also signify the eternal love and structure of their marriage. I like it and I hope you do to. If not have a great time at the wedding.
A Friend.

Why not get together with the other bridesmaids and maid of honor and all go tgether for a spa day? You can all get massages, manicures, etc. It would be really relaxing and enjoyable.

Why not make her a scrap book kind of thing documenting her relationship with her future husband? You can do a little spying asking her what she done on her first date and stuff ...get pictures of them ..or get pictures of them as childs and put them together on the bodies of brides and grooms. You can get people of the bridal and groom party to write something about them and it can be a keepsake....Hope this helps or gives you an idea on what to do ....=]

buy her a pampering day at a spa near her home. or just a facial or something for before her wedding if you cant afford the whole package. boots probably does a pampering day gift set for under £100, so she can chill out and look nice before her wedding day

I just got married and I had 5 sisters in my wedding...
My Maid of Honor (one of the sisters) and another sister threw me an AWESOME bachelorette party. Also, my Maid of Honor threw me an awesome bridal shower.
Basically, keep asking if you can help in ANY way, big or small.
2 of my sisters live 3,000 mile away from me. It was special to me that they made it to my Bridal Shower in addition to being in my wedding. It was a financial burden on them and I will be forever grateful!

How about buying two white doves from a pet store or bird house and release them after the ceromony outside from a cage. That would be a lasting impression from you.
