Many futurists believe that our world will continue to come under the influence of information technology (IT) led by what are called knowledge engineers. Their success opened up the space age in the past and very recently helped scientists read human genome maps. No doubt IT will be a strong influence on the job market. Some think that stockbrokers and realtors are likely to lose business in the future as personal online contacts increase. Others do not agree. Ever since I can remember my dad has been drinking. The reason why my parents got divorced was because of his drinking. Just last July my dad got drunk and got in his car and a wrecked a whole bunch of cars along his road. Recently I went to a counselor and he told me to just remember that it's not my fault and I can't do anything to change what he did. But is there just any way that I could help my dad with his problem?

Please don't think I'm stupid, the thing is that I am not sure how to choose what I'm going to study in college, I want to study engineering at the university but then what should I study in college...

My brother owns a bar…its actually one of the nicer ones in the state. We have some of the top local bands playing and is really a hot spot among people who attend happy hours. Well, last week my brother noticed sales of alcohol were WAY down one night even though the place was PACKED. Upon investigation, our bathroom attendant notified us that some customer started a false rumor of a DWI checkpoint outside the bar while in the bathroom. Apparently, this rumor spread so quickly that the band even made an announcement notifying all the people there to 'be prepared' We guesstimate this rumor cost the bar close to ten thousand dollars. We have a good idea of who spreaded this horrible rumor and want to sue him in a court of law for lost income…our bathroom attendant can identify him…do we have a case?

I have a 1971 Chevy Impala with a 350. The exhaust manifold has been replaced with headers and a dual exhaust system (no crossover pipe), and the original carb has been replaced with an Edelbrock 750cfm 4bbl. It has plugs and wires that are about 3 years old.

The engine runs poorly and does not produce very much power. When I try to accelerate from a stop it bogs down and nearly stalls unless I give it lots of gas. Often it will backfire through the carb shortly after it has been started, the air cleaner is black with soot. After this happens it runs a little better for a while.

I've tried adjusting the accelerator pump on the carb to provide more or less fuel, this does not appear to help. I've adjusted the set screws on the front of the carb which also does not seem to help. I've adjusted the timing in the past, but have not checked it recently. I've checked that the plug wires all go to the right cylinders and cleaned the plugs.
