I'm not aware of any Republicans denying the existance of neo-conservatism but I imagine there are some out there who wish to stick their collective heads in the sand and ignore anything outside of their normal party beliefs. Currently, neo-conservatism IS the influential party policy. The president and his cabinet are largely under the sway of the neocon movement. Denny Hastert and many of the House and Senate GOP leaders embraced it, which IMHO, is really at the heart of the GOP losing the Congress. Neocons have accepted the low taxes part of Reaganomics but their unbridled spending along with the almost religious devtion to "spreading democracy around the world" has turned many moderates and old guard conservatives against them. There is a battle coming for the heart and soul of the GOP. If the old guard conservatives win, then the party will likely not remain in the minority for long. If the Neocons are victorious, then the GOP may face another 40 years as the "loyal opposition".

I don't know any Republicans that feel the need to deny that neo conservatives exist.
I'm not a Repub, but all of them I personally know are well educated people with strong convictions. The far right Repubs I know are no more extreme than the far left Demos I know.
In my experience, the vast majority of people I know are somewhere in the middle politically.

I know neoconservatism exists. It's anyone who newly converts to the conservative way of thinking. But on YA it is being used as an insult to all conservatives old or new.

I am fully confident that neither you nor the vast majority of Repubs or Dems know what neoconservatism is.
Liberals were just taught that was a dirty word to call the republicans so they post it hundreds of times on an insignificant website.

do you have a problem with neoconservatism? Do you even know what the word means??
NEO means new,
CONSERVATISM, means conservative.
So the phrase NEOCONSERVATISM(or neocon) means New-Conservative.
Which conservatives now days aren't "New", the idea of conservatism has been around since Reagan and before.
Only politicians in the time of Reagan can be truthfully be referred to as "Neoconservative"

It's strange that Reds do not recognize diversity in their party.
Blues have dealt with the many factions of left leaning people for years. It is a non issue in the Blue team locker room
But the Reds hold fast to the closet door They profess to be cookie cutter Reds, to protect the "Uniters" image.

Republicans are scum. They never admit guilt and enjoy blaming others. Of course they deny neoconservatives exist because neoconservatives turned out to be meth heads that patron gay prostitutes with money embezzeled by mindless sheep that follow them.
The Bible belt denies the influence that neoconservatives have on the party because their pants are around their ankles and the neoconservatives have been giving it to them for years.
