After affirming that “the wages sin pays is dying,” the Bible is going directly to assert, “however the present God provides is eternal existence via Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 6:23. What Jehovah God finally did to make good that present replaced into to grant something that should disguise the loss through fact of Adam’s transgression. In Hebrew, the word ka·phar? in the past each and every thing possibly meant “disguise” or consistent with possibility “wipe off,” and it is likewise translated “atonement.” In different words, Jehovah provided a suitable potential to disguise over sin inherited from Adam and wipe out the wear and tear that ended so as that people who qualify for that present must be liberated from the condemnation of sin and dying. Romans 8:21. it quite is worth noting that the “wages” (dying) are something we've earned, albeit unwillingly, via our sinful nature. on the different hand, the eternal existence that God makes available is something completely undeserved that we ought to in no way earn on our own reward.

Don't forget Romans 3:23: "For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God." And, Romans 5:8: "But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." The Roman road........
