With our lust for war, violence, greed, overpopulation, overconsumption (drugs, food, RESOURCES, etc.) we will not be able to maintain life as we now know it. We seem "hardwired" towards very dangerous habits and decisions. Could we genetically alter future people to be more passive and less self-serving? I think it's the only way we won't destroy ourselves and this planet. Discuss....

I am non smoker and I would like to get peoples views on this issue. I have seen many arguements from a smokers side of view that basically says "if non smokers don't wanna be around smokers then they shouldn't go to pubs!"

I might be the only one in England that see it differently, I see there are 2 options:

A) The smoking ban goes ahead and then smokers brave the cold for 5 mins to have a cigarette and only those who want to kill themselves with smoke can leaving the rest of us healthy

or

B) Non smokers have to drink outside the pubs and smokers can stay inside!

Please tell me your views

well, i'm 24 years old and she is 40. i'm single, she is married. i've known her for about two years now. she is currently undergoing a divorce now because her husband's a dumbass. i have 2 children, she has 5. we see each other every mourning to take our children to the bus. our children play with each other everyday. we go out as a family sometimes (not the husband). i pick up her eldest daughter up from work. sometimes we stay up all night just talking to each other about everything. we know each other almost inside and out. we email, talk on the phone, and/or chat. she is just the woman i've dreamed about my whole life. i know it's not lust, but her caring yet, sexy personality. i know i'm young, but i can't pass this up. the husband is neglectful and very abusive verbally. she and i never really kiss(on the lips anyway). we haven't slept with each other. i'm way pass the friend feelings. i don't want to lose her friendship. should i tell her how i feel. i'm in love, somebody help!

People are realizing that Al-Qaeda/Osama bin Laden are not to blame for the U.S. attacks that occurred of 9/11/01 but instead our own U.S. government is to blame. Yes, that's right, OUR OWN U.S. government. So what happens now? How do we punish our own corrupted goverment? And when are the U.S. citizens gonna stop giving middle easterns crap about terrorism when in fact WE the U.S. government is the REAL TERRORIST. It's time to stand up for our rights and our security, apologize to Mr. Osama bin Laden, and give justice to the innocent lives taken on 9/11.

I have an AMT/ERTL Bigfoot 4x4 model kit, 1:25 scale, still in original box, not put together, though the box has been opened, dated 1984.

I'm not on the pill, I used protection (condom), I've been nursing for 5 months, and have only had sex once since then. Could I be pregnant again? Mythology has depicted both consentual and non cosentual intercourse when Set attracted Horus with the line "How lovely your backside is." What is your opinion, did the Egyptians speak of shame that such an act took place? Or did they tell the story without risk of embarassment? Was it a common ideal to them? And what would you prefer? The idea that it was rape? Or the idea that it was pleasure for the Hawk god?
