Egyptian mythology, and other mythologies around the world have depicted homosexuality, both in good context and bad context. One of the most well known stories was the depiction of homosexuality between two Gods of Egypt; Horus the God of the Sky and Northern Egypt and Set, God of the Storms and Southern Egypt. Mythology has depicted both consentual and non cosentual intercourse when Set attracted Horus with the line "How lovely your backside is." What is your opinion, did the Egyptians speak of shame that such an act took place? Or did they tell the story without risk of embarassment? Was it a common ideal to them? And what would you prefer? The idea that it was rape? Or the idea that it was pleasure for the Hawk god?

I think it was rape, but I think of it...Hmmm...Not so much homosexuality, but a very...interesting way to show superiority of one and inferiority to another. Set is raping Horus, so Set is showing his dominance.
