I have a major problem with my sister. A few days ago, she came home and announced she was now a vegatarian. This was a surprise since the day before, she ate two hamburgers. The reason (when pressed and because I know her so well) is that she goes to school with two vegatarians and one very opinionated vegan (if you aren't vegan, he thinks you're the anti-christ).

What I need is some advice. I can't talk her out of it (changing because you want to is one thing, to be liked by people she won't see after this semester is another) so I need a lot of advice.

1. What protiens are allowed in a vegatarian diet? She won't eat tofu, beans, legumes or really any vegatables. We need to find some protein for her.

2. Is fish ok?

3. Any good recipe sites?

4. Any good sites on this new lifestyle? Maybe something that talks about the nutritional values?

5. Any good sites besides PETA? I don't trust them and that's all my sister would look at.

I'll soon be graduating with a bachelor's degree in elementary education, but I no longer have the desire to teach elementary school.

I hate the prospect of being so restricted by state standards and school district regulations. I can't help my students in areas they are struggling with, simply because the school and government require so many other things. I don't want to spend the school year focusing on what the students need to know to pass a test to make the school look better. I also dread being up to my ears in lesson plans, and having to juggle curriculum and classroom management.

Still, I'd love to work with children. I volunteer with a animal welfare group, in which I visit schools to teach kids about different kind of animals. I'd love to integrate teaching with animals and nature, but I kind of need a job that pays, not a volunteer job. I also love working with art and music.

Ive had a really bad year.. Anyway i want to start next year differently, the last 5 new year eve i've spent in the same town..

i've had a really ruff time with my naw ex G/F, she messed my head up.!

I was thinkin this year if the weather is O.K to go up to the mountains or the beach, try and clear my head and start next year differently.. Is it weird that i wana spend a bit of time on my own, when you should be surrounded by people..

My son lives on his own in a rented room but hopes to move out in the near future. He will need items for an apt. but what do I get him for christmas that he can use now? No clothes, cash is ok but not personal and I want him to open presents on Christmas day. Any one have any really good ideas. After 18 years of marriage, my wife and I had a very tough year. For about 6 months, my wife was drinking excessively several times per week, staying up inside our house very late (2-4am) and we fought (verbally) often during this period.

One night about 2-3am after a long fight, my wife went to the couch and passed out. I was mad and couldn't sleep anymore and had to go to work in the morning. I got up went to the couch and started taking off her clothes to have sex. Just for fairness....I knew she wouldn't want me doing this, but I knew she was too drunk to resist much.

In the middle of having sex she looked up at me, got really mad and told me to get off her. I got off her when she said this, no physical force was used to keep going.

It has been 6 months since this happened and she is mad and tells me I raped her. I don't agree. I am not saying I didn't do something wrong, but I do not think this is considered rape.

What do you think?

I have a laptop that has a wireless card in it. My landlord set up a wireless LAN for the house. I had to restore my computer, but now I can't use the LAN. It connects to it (I had to enter the network key the first time). It automatically connects and says the connection is excellent. However, my internet explorer won't work. I took my laptop to school and it works fine with the school's wireless connection. Also, there is a school by where I live w/wireless that I can connect to, but my own wireless won't work. If the connection is excellent, why won't explorer work? I have windows XP. I haven't installed any additional protection because I haven't even got my explorer running again. The computer has a firewall built-in but it doesn't even help when I turn it off. Any suggestions?

Can I just ask - why are there always questions on here saying that people are buying umbilical cords to insert into their uterus until a new one grows to feed the baby (I won't even go into reasons why this is utterly rediculous)?? People always make New Years Resolutions but few of us keep them. I only have one and its always the same- GET ORGANIZED!
I have such a problem with this and it doesn't seem to matter what I do to make it work, it always fails! But I'm not giving up because it is not an impossible goal.

For 2007, I will (try again!) get organized.
