they do have incomes and there are tax write offs for donations of sorts and they are succeptable. they offer a product, market it, and defend product recalls in court (ie. child molesting priests) that its consumers buy with the belief that those actions are not part of the package that they give money to. if merck had said vioxx will kill half of you and help the other half and where allowed to continue to stock shelves with their product, they would face unsurmountable taxations where they would no longer find it profitable to continue producing the drug.

What happened to me was, our dog knocked down our christmas tree. All of the ornaments broke except for one. A tiny golden cross that said "Jesus will save me" on it. Then the way the it caught the sunlight, the cross seemed to glow and light up the whole room! What happened to you?

FIRES THAT AMERICA CAN'T PUT OUT

Should you ever find yourself walking through the burned out forest in the dead of a very cold winter just outside what use to be Centralia, Pennsylvania, and feel like your feet are on fire, it's by no means an illusion. Just a few feet below the ground upon which you are walking, the earth is literally blazing with fire. It's an underground fire that now covers dozens of square miles.

My fantastic 97 outback legacy wagon started whirring one day 200 miles from home. The sound got louder on acceleration. There was rubber and metal dust around the timing belt.
I had the car towed to a mechanic who found that the tensioner bolt had broken clean off, ripping a path in the timing cover, and tensioner was floating but engine had not seized up yet.
What could be the internal engine damage and how much to repair? I think it is an interference engine but not sure. Mechanic who looked at it only inspected timing belt assembly and did not open engine but thinks there is probably internal damage.
I had the timing belt and tensioner changed only 2 1/2 months ago. Is this the mechanic's fault who did the job? If so how? What else could have caused the bolt to break?
Should I have a subaru dealership evaluate it before I have the car towed back at my expense to the timing belt mechanic so he can look and maybe assume responsibility?
If not do I have a small claims case? thanks.

Hi,

I just don't get it. I'm a good looking guy that takes care of himself. I will meet a girl at a supermarket, clothing store etc, and have a really great conversation with her for about 15-minutes. (Not a nightclub, no drinking) We will talk, and laugh for a while. I will then ask her for her phone number, and say "would you like to get togeather for a nice dinner some night". She will then agree, and give me her cell number. I will then give her my cell number. A day or two later i will call her just to say hi. And it never fails. Straight to voice mail everytime. I guess that trusted cellphone just isn't that close to them, the one time i choose to call!! Anyways.. I always leave a message, i never hang up and i don't block my number. I mostly say.. "Hi "" , just calling to see how your day is going, it was nice to meet you.. call me when you have a free moment" There is No call back that day. I do not call them again. Then, four days or so later they call. Why the games?

For the record I'm a new 360 owner. Rather than engage in a series of fruitless all night campouts for the other systems, I purchased an XBox 360. Actually, I may still get the other systems, but considering the lack of "killer app" launch titles and the high prices and hassle I'm in no hurry. The 360 has a very good library of games now, so I'm content with it. Any other 360 fans out there ???

I never had a pet, but I have to ask... do animals (domesticated & wild) attribute importance to names by which they are called? Do they (in wild) have something similar to names to identify individuals and communicate?

If they do not, then from an evolutionary & psychological perspective, why do human beings like to assign "a lot of" meaning and value to their names? Why are human beings so narcissistic compared to other species?
