It depends upon which brand you use, and how many. the store brands are cheaper, but my daughter says they don't work as well. With my three week old grandson she uses Pampers. And she usually uses Huggies Pull ups (I think) on our two year old grandson. For just the newborn, cost will be about $60 a month so that works out to be about $720 a year! Scary, isn't it? And she has two in diapers right now! She takes advantage of all the coupons and sales and specials she can get.

Well, you have to put it like this, what size are you going tobuy? The regular pack or the Jumbo pack? How old is the baby? How often do you buy a pack?
I'll give you my example... it will be cool to find out how much I use on diapers!!!!
My son uses Huggies Supremes size 5, we buy a 26 pack about every week.... so.... wow.... $11.99 x 52 weeks= $623.48.
Holy S***!!!!!
Okay... now this one....
My daughter is in a size 2 right now, she won't be in size 2 for the next year... but we will just use it.... size 2 White Cloud from Walmart is $6.67 or something.... so, because she won't always be in size 2, we will say we spend every week about $8 on diapers for her...... $8.00 x 52 weeks = $416!!!!

Ouch......

if you're in Singapore.
The cheapest brand, probably cost $12.80 (that's what i'm using) for 60 pcs of Small size.

From brith to almost 3 months, we have used on average, 2 packs monthly. so, i guess, you need to do your math.
Not only that, as the sizes go up, the no. of pieces in the pack goes down.

Unless you used cloth napkins, otherwise, it's going to cost us quite a neat sum just spending on diapers along

I've been pricing diapers myself. Babies r' Us has the best prices I've seen so far. You can get about 200 diapers for $35.00 (that's for the name-brand). They have their own brand of diapers which are about $10.00 cheaper for the same quantity (and I've heard they're just as good as the name brand). If you buy from babies r' us you could probably spend in the area of about $550-660 per year.

I'm going to cosco and sam's club today to check out their prices...I'll let you know what I find.

If you go with cloth (which I highly recommend) you can get everything you need for a year for less than $100. But they last you longer than a year and for more than one child.

A friend of mine with twins in disposables spends $60/month. She uses cheap ones during the day and Huggies at night. So that would be $30/month for one child which is $360/year.

not sure, if i was to venture a guess i'd say....maybe $240 give or take a bit.
that's averaging about 1 pack a month, which costs a little less than $20.
so, i took $20 times 12 b/c sometimes you'll go over a pack in a month.

i think that's a decent rough guess. sounds a lot less than it feels in the bank account, though. OH! don't forget about wipes though. they can be a bit expensive and you go through them like crazy!!!

take care.

I use pampers with my daughter and she goes through a 10.00 pack a week. So thats 40.00 a month or about 480.00 a year. Of course there are times when she will pee on it as soon as I put it under her, or times she will have diarreah so it is probably closer to 550.00. Lots of money!

Depends on the brand you choose times(x's) millions of diapers, lol. Go cheaper, they are just as good and your not mostly paying for the name.
