Hi,
I just don't get it. I'm a good looking guy that takes care of himself. I will meet a girl at a supermarket, clothing store etc, and have a really great conversation with her for about 15-minutes. (Not a nightclub, no drinking) We will talk, and laugh for a while. I will then ask her for her phone number, and say "would you like to get togeather for a nice dinner some night". She will then agree, and give me her cell number. I will then give her my cell number. A day or two later i will call her just to say hi. And it never fails. Straight to voice mail everytime. I guess that trusted cellphone just isn't that close to them, the one time i choose to call!! Anyways.. I always leave a message, i never hang up and i don't block my number. I mostly say.. "Hi "" , just calling to see how your day is going, it was nice to meet you.. call me when you have a free moment" There is No call back that day. I do not call them again. Then, four days or so later they call. Why the games?

they are not playing games just being careful you never know what kind of person you will meet and they seem nice but then they change when you go out with them

I will also wait a day or two to make the first call just because i don't want to seem like a stalker. I think that part of what you are doing is just fine. How girls can ignore a voice message and call back days later beats me as well. That just sends out the wrong signal to us guys. I can tell you that it makes me want to put zero effort into doing anything good for that person once she calls. Some girls just have the need to always be in control of when they want to talk and go out. Maybe this is more in tune with your situation. Some girls want the ball to be always in there court. I don't know what good this does them. But for me it is Game Over once they start this type of nonsense. This is the way you deal with it, or they will walk all over you. You are doing the right thing by not calling back. Just go out and find a better quality of girl. The girls that pull this kinda stuff are not worth jack.

This is with all chicks? Sounds like they are following some four day rule. Don't get discouraged. Why not just ask, in a nice way, what the deal is. Maybe one will be honest and explain the deal. At least you are getting digits and calls back.

You have to realize just because they gave u 15 minutes of their time and their cell number, doesn't mean they don't have a life outside of you. They could have kids at home, a hard busy job.
Maybe they call back when they have the time and no other dates lined up. You have to expect this when you just meet and exchange numbers.
