I keep saying to myself "this is the last time" but as soon as a few days go by it becomes "I deserve a drink for holding out so long" and there I go again.. If you were sucessful in quiting please share with me how you did it.

In a story I am writing, most of the events take place in an institution(or academy, or university, whatever) which aims studying alien civilization on other planets in order to deduce from their progress the main reasons that make all civilizations grow and then inevitably decilne. The project hopes to infer from that prolonged study the esoteric truth of the universe and its purpose.The events take place in the not so distant future.

What I want you to suggest is:
1- the name of that institution. My story is supposed to be a satire, so I'm looking for funny names and acronyms that mock the whole business of truth finding, scientific research, deep philosophical significances,and all that kooky stuff:)

2- I also wish you could suggest a name for the manager of this institution/project. I regard him as a thin man whith a shrill vboice, quick movements, and the mean and quick demeanor of a mouse.

ok what it is i was riding along last night and all of a sudden my scooter went really slow and then wouldnt let any more throttle be applied, it wasnt maxed out and it seemed like it was sputtering any advice would be ace ta but not any stupid comments like" throw it away"

my husband and me been married for 15 years. we have had
some real bad rough marriage. we go out i can not drink because of my liver, then he drinks and gets so drunk. Then we fight because we ran into the girl he made out with 9 months ago, she was there and he looked at her i got mad and told him not tobut yet he still wants to go where she goes why and now he wants a divorce then he calls me bad names. British people have the history of making colonies and living in different countries and have made thier own home and empire after looting and capturing. How can I find out if my laptop has some sort of remote tracking device installed on it...or if there is a harware device some where attached to my laptops guts? Only reason I ask is becauses this laptop was in someones possession for several months before I was able to get it back and that somone is not a friend, and i dont know the potential they would go to, as far as spying on me or gathering personal info?
