before I was with my boyfrined... I knew him earlier from my bestfriend. Well, one night I decided to walk home, alone, he walked me home... on the way I insisted to go out to out schools baseball field. The stars were bright, and dreamy. He was reluctant... and a little immature. we laid down and stared at the stars and talked. He wanted to go... saying, "this is dumb!" he almost left, when he did I heard some commotion in the dugouts. I was very nervous... I was frozen with fear. An man, who was obscured by the dark came out. My boyfriend wandered off, and then he must of heard something or senced something, because he came back. He tackled the guy, and fought him off. I was so scared. I began to cry, and I started to leave. My boyfriend had thrown the guy out and escaped. His lip was bleeding and his jeans were torn, and he lost a shoe. He wanted to know if I was hurt... I was so scared, but I knodded no. He walked with me to my house, and no one was home. I let him in and fixed his cut and let him borrow a pair of my brother's shoes. He slumped onto the corner next to me. I had grabbed the phone to call 911. I started to tremble when dialing the number and broke into tears. I dropped the phone and sobbed. He held me in his arms... I felt safe. I think he even cried. Then I worked myself to call 911. I filed my police report, and he stayed home with me until my brother came home. He didn't take advantage of me or anything, he just did what was in his heart.

My husband bought me a box of 'After8' after dinner chocolate mints on the 3rd of every month after our wedding day. This was because the 3rd was a special day for him he said. After a year of this he bought me for our first anniversary a beautiful little gold carriage a perfect size to dispaly my After8' mints in. How romantic - or would have been had he ever bothered to buy me them again! lol. I had to buy my own after that! Still, it was sweet and so was he.

My b/f brings me a thermos of tea to school on cold mornings, pulls my chair out for me, opens the car door, lets me hang out with him and his friends, and always walks me to my front door when we get back from a date. He also helps me relax by giving me massages when I'm stressed, and just chats to me.

My hubby does two things....
He ALWAYS opens the car door for me, even if we are at the grocery store with our kids. He is a great example!
He will make me tea and bring it to me when I am getting out of bed. It is so nice to wake up to that!
