I am a physics student. Recently we had a workshop in which we were asked a general knowledge question:- Does weight remain constant throughout the world?..I know the answer is related to "acceleration due to gravity, g", but i am not able to find the exact answer. Please help me

Should we have nit nurses back in schools?

I know there was alot of hear say that they were to rough etc...
But these damn things are a nightmare, they are like some superbreed that just won't go away. 4 times this week my son has come home with them!!!
Everytime i get him clear he goes to school and the damn things are back by the time he gets home, i always check all of my kids hair every day, do some parents just not bother???
It must be so uncortable for the poor kids, i say we need the nit nurse back because at least she/he told the parents of the kid/kids who had them

how can you get two shy peolpe two talk and get comfable around each other?

me and my bf are both shy when we come to talk somtimes we come up with confesations and then it goes quite again and theres nothing really to talk about i want him to become comfable around me and i want to become comfable around him so when open and just saying enything

Packed Lunch?

My 5 year old daughter has taken some time to settle into school from January, she was at another Nuresery and is struggling to make friends even though she is comfortable with her own company, one of her main issues are going to the toilet alone, especially if it is dirty, and will not eat the packed lunch that I provide but will eat school fruits and snacks in the afternoon, she is a fussy eater and thought that if I put things in her lunch that she likes it would help, any suggestions would help.

avi playback jerky- anything i can do ?

Is it OK to pick a major based on future pay if you haven't been able to find something you really enjoy?

I'm a sophomore in university, and everyone tells me that I'll figure out what I want in life in due time. Ever since I was 12 - "don't worry, you still have time." I'm still hearing that I have time, but I really don't think so. I can't even narrow something down to something general - like science or liberal arts or anything. I'm tired of not working towards a career. I took a wide variety of classes to find out what I like, but nothing ever holds my interest.

So, I'm starting to feel like I should probably just pick something where I know I will have a guaranteed job and good salary because I do not have a particular "dream career" like everyone else.

I've been to career counseling, and every time the results are so disappointing because I just cannot see myself doing those things.

Am I setting myself up for failure and a life of unhappiness if I pick a career based on pay and job security instead of enjoyment? I was thinking of going for chem. or biomedical engineering.
