Are the moon phases the same in the northern and southern hemispheres or are they opposites? i.e, northern hemisphere is full moon whilst southern is new moon. etc ...

A friend of mine has a very rare cat apparently....
Its as big as a maincombe with long full white hair, pink eyes and pink nose. Very docile and gorgeous to look at.
What breed could it be? Chinchillas seem to be close but they don't have pink eyes.

I recently had a quarrel about modern piano arrangements of the music of Johann Sebastian Bach with a person who is a big fan of Glenn Gould, the Canadian piano artist who virtually made a career out of interpreting Bach on the piano. Somewhere along the way this person said something that, to my mind, sounded like one of those sweeping statements people make when they try to walk out of an argument with the false impression that they have "won:" he appeared to be suggesting that if one does not like the modern interpretations of Bach on the piano, one does not "understand" his music. This left me wondering as to the meaning of undestanding music. As far as I can see, it could mean a number of things, one of them being "to undestand what elements in a given piece of music appeal to one's taste." But it seems that what is meant by understanding here is something more specific, that there is something more objective that needs to be understood. What do you think this could be?

I've my relationship (engaged) with my bf and we gonna married next year. He's from the States and I am from Dominican Republic. well, as his wife i will become, he wants me to go the states and live with him together. For that, we need the visa. he had been working alot and me too for save up money. Yesterday we were talking about the spends it requires for succeed the marriage visa which is kinda expensive ($600-1000 dls). he told me what we gonna do is to share the spends (each of us will pay the half-to-half). I didnt offended by that, but im just wondering if in the future things will be this way. Is this correct? I mean i'm not a spoil who wants everyhing-i-wish and neither I dont have any problem sharing.

is this a good sign of a good marriage? i mean,... the fact of know how to share things with your couple... can someone clear up this to me?

She's a 5 month old Boxer/Pit Bull mix. She was jumping up to get a toy I was holding up in the air. When she came down and landed in her foot, she slipped and fell, then screamed non-stop for about a minute straight.

X-rays the next day confirmed it was a torn ACL and fractured Tibial Crest (in many little pieces). Has anyone had this experience with their dog/puppy? What do I have to look forward to? Anything I can do to make her chances of a full recovery better?

Doc says she can't have surgety 'til she's done growing...that's not for about another 6-7 months! Ugh!

I just need some direction! In May I met a really great guy there was instant chemistry however shortly after we started dating he had to leave town for a few months, during this time, he cheated on me and I decided we would be friends until he returned. While he was away I started talking to another guy and he and I fell for each other the only thing was that he lives 15 hrs away. He tells me he wants to be with me and that he will be moving to my town so that we can be together, get married and start a family. But he seems to just be putting it off almost as if he tells me these things just to keep me. Now my ex calls me late at night telling me he really screwed up and that he wants me back so that we can repair our relationship and he also tells me he wants a family with me. I love both of them so much and I don't want to hurt either of them and people tell me to follow my heart but its the reason im in this mess. Some please help me!!!
