The Ouija Board is a Tool of Satan Here's why, and read carefully:

The truth about the condition of the dead is clearly stated in the Bible. But who tried to deceive the first human pair about death? Satan contradicted God’s warning that disobedience would bring death. (Gen. 3:4; Rev. 12:9) In time, of course, it became obvious that humans did die as God said they would. Reasonably, then, who was responsible for inventing the idea that humans really do not die but that some spirit part of man survives the death of the body? Such a deception fits Satan the Devil, whom Jesus described as “the father of the lie.” (John 8:44; see also 2 Thessalonians 2:9, 10.) Belief that the dead are really alive in another realm and that we can communicate with them has not benefited mankind. On the contrary, Revelation 18:23 says that, by means of the spiritistic practices of Babylon the Great, “all the nations were misled.” The spiritistic practice of ‘talking with the dead’ is actually a fraudulent deception that can put people in contact with the demons (angels that became selfish rebels against God) and often leads to a person’s hearing unwanted voices and being harassed by those wicked spirits.

A ouija board is a tool for talking with spirits. It has letters, a "yes", a "no", and "goodbye". Two people place their hands on the pointer, ask questions, and the spirits will spell out a response. Not a very good tool to use, actually, since it's open for all kinds of spirits to wander across. Anyone looking to communicate with spirits is better off using a psychic circle, which has the same premise as a ouija board but has the letters in a circle, thereby discouraging mischievous spirits from answering.

Tarot cards are a tool used to show the asker what energy patterns are coming into their lives. There is a major arcana of 22 cards, representing the journey of the soul from infancy to adulthood (metaphorically speaking) and a minor arcana of 56 cards. The minor arcana has four suits - swords, which represent air (thought), cups, which represent water (emotion), pentacles/coins, which represent earth (materials/substance), and wands, which represent fire (social/spirit). Some readers use only the major arcana, some use both. The asker shuffles the cards, thereby transferring their energies to the cards and giving the reader "permission" to see the future trends coming their way. Generally speaking, tarot cards are used to tell the asker things they already know at a subconscious level, but may not be able - or willing - to see, for whatever reason. It can be very accurate or very inaccurate, depending on the asker. If the asker is completely closed to the concept of tarot cards, the cards won't tell them anything useful. If the asker is very open to tarot, it will probably tell them a lot of things they already know. The tarot does not tell you your destiny or what is fated to happen to you. It tells you what is headed your way. You have a choice whether to change your path and take a different one or make no changes, so it isn't like the tarot is going to tell you that you're going to be horribly broke and you have no control over the situation. I read tarot and tend to amaze the askers, who don't understand that they're just "letting me see" things they already know.

Neither have anything to do with the Devil. Period. And on the subject of the tarot, the Devil card does NOT mean Satan has entered your life, just that you're getting bogged down with materialism, are being chained by addictions, or in some way something physical is hampering your spiritual progression, and the Death card does NOT mean you are going to die (well, sometimes it can mean a physical death for someone, but generally it means that a way of life is coming to a definite end, the kind where you can't go back to what you had before).

Blessed be!

The Ouija board is a flat board with a pointer that two people are suppose to put their hands on and let spirits guide their hands to move the pointer to answer questions when the pointer goes to different words and letters on the board.

The tarot cards are a deck of cards, similar to playing cards, that are shuffled and one person, the querient, asks a question which then the other person lays out several cards at random. The meaning of the cards leads to answer of the question.

Both are tools of different forms of Divination. There are tons of forms of divination, a simple web search can reveal a lot more (palmistry, astrology, numerology, runes, bibliology, etc...)

A Ouija board is what Christians use to contact God with, it is placed on the head and spun around, it is often depicted in paintings of saints and looks like a halo.

The Tarot is what the saints created to put their black magic into a coded form I think, something like that anyway, it is older than the Bible and very arcane .

I believe we are all psychic, but for the majority the gift or the belief has been long knocked out of them. Educated out is another way of looking at it. Many professional psychics have grown up in a psychic friendly environment. Perhaps a grand-parent or parent with the knowledge has helped bring the extra sense out in the open and encouraged its use. But there are as many practicing psychics who have not had the benefit of caring psychic guidance and who have still managed to develop and hone this natural extra sense. The Psychic Sense.
